It’s going down In New York as Bimpe Onakoya returns to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for Spring 2016 and BellaNaija Beauty has an EXCLUSIVE all-access pass as we follow her through her New York journey.
The anticipated fashion event kicked off yesterday with a host of fashion editors, enthusiasts, bloggers, celebrities and more storming various venues to catch their favourite designers debut for Spring 2016.
We let you in on exciting scoop a day ago, that Bimpe (Creative Director, Maybelline New York Nigeria) would be creating stunning looks for designers such as Marissa Webb, DKNY and more. And her ‘Cacao-ing’ duties started yesterday.
Backstage at the Maybelline makeup tent, she, alongside other international Maybelline makeup artists, got to work at the Marissa Webb Spring 2016 showcase.
They created a makeup look that centered mainly on the eyes. Models were given a nude base on their face, green shimmery eyeshadow with a hint of blue eyeliner.
We love what they did with their hair – models had tousled side-swept strands that was either finished with a bun, or left to fall over-shoulder.
We definitely love their signature manicures! Maybelline nail technicians created a monochrome look on short nails that stood out in contrast with the colourful pieces.
